Drei Profile orthodoxer Theologie in Deutschland
Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel führt in das theologische Denken der drei orthodoxen Theologen Stefan Zankow (1881-1965), Nikolaus von Arseniew (1888-1977) und Anastasios Kallis (*1932) ein und ordnet das Wirken der Theologen in seine historischen und theologischen Zusammenhänge ein. Mit Zankows Vorlesungen zum „Wesen des orthodoxen Christentums“, Arseniews Referat zum „Christlichen Abendland der Gegenwart und dem Geist der orthodoxen Kirche“ und Kallis Referat „Der Mensch als kosmischer Liturg“ wird jeweils ein charakteristisches Opus der Theologen vorgestellt. Abschließend werden die drei Theologen als kultursensible Vermittler zwischen den orthodoxen Traditionen ihrer Herkunftsländer und den Kontexten Deutschlands gewürdigt.

Three Profiles of Orthodox Theology in Germany
Summary
The article introduces to the theological thought of the three Orthodox theologians Stefan Zankow (1881-1965), Nicholas of Arseniew (1888-1977) and Anastasios Kallis (* 1932) and puts their work in its historical and theological contexts. With Zankow’s lectures on the „Essence of Orthodox Christianity“, Arseniew’s presentation on the „Contemporary Christian West and the Spirit of the Orthodox Church“ and Kallis’s presentation „The human being as a cosmic priest” one key-contribution of each theologian is introduced. Finally, the three theologians are recognized as culturally sensitive mediators between the orthodox traditions of their home countries and the German contexts.
